Bilaval is a clear seven-note framework and a useful starting point for learning how shuddh swaras map between staff notation and Bhatkhande notation.

1. Sing the scale with a steady drone and equal note lengths.
2. Clap a simple four-beat cycle while keeping the swara line even.
